 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the United States is an actress as well as a comedian and activist. She was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents and began her acting career as a young person just after moving to the United States. She is best known for her appearances on AT&T television commercials. In these commercials, Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and in 2020 (since 2020 (since). She also was a regular series regular on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction show Other Space (2015). She also played an ongoing role as a character on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. Vayntrub is also the voice of Squirrel Girl on the Marvel Rising franchise since 2018 after she was cast as the character in the unaired television pilot for New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish born in Tashkent in the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents and she were exiled from antisemitism by the age of two. They settled in West Hollywood. At the age of five, she began appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was in part due to the economic hardships in her family. Vayntrub attended Beverly Hills High School briefly however she was kicked out of the school during her sophomore year. She later obtained a GED and graduated with the Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication at University of California, San Diego. She was a member of improv comedy group the Upright Citizens Brigade.
