Jacques Bermon Webster I, born April 30th, 1990 more commonly known as Travis Scott (formerly Travi$ Scott), is an American musician and rapper. The stage name is the name of his favorite uncle, with the initials and first name (of Kid Cudi), of his idol, Travis Scott. Scott signed his first major label deal with Epic Records in 2012, and also a publishing contract with Kanye West's GOOD Music. In April 2013, he signed joint recording contracts with Epic and T.I. The record was released under the Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first full length project, Owl Pharaoh (mixtape), was self-released in 2013. The mixtape was followed by Days Before Rodeo in 2014. Rodeo (2015) Rodeo (2015), his first studio album, featured the hit single "Antidote". His follow-up album entitled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016), became his first top-ranked album on the Billboard 200. Scott followed that year with a joint album titled Huncho Jack Huncho that was released under the title Huncho Jack. The band's third studio album Astroworld was released to acclaim from critics. The album also produced his first Billboard Hot 100 number 1 single, "Sicko Mode" featuring Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records release the compilation album JackBoys in the latter part of 2019. This album topped the Billboard 200. After the single "Franchise" and Scott (featuring Young Thug) and M.I.A. were released, it was a top hit on the 200-page chart on Billboard. Scott was the first Hot 100 artist to have three songs debut at the top spot within a mere decade in 2020.
